Educational Qualification :
- Degree in Law: Degree in Law (Professional) or integrated Law Course from a University established by law in India.
- Language Requirement: Working Knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagri Script and knowledge of Rajasthani dialects and social customs of Rajasthan.

Examination Scheme and Syllabus
- The selection will be done through a Preliminary Examination (objective type) and a Main Examination (written descriptive).
- The Preliminary Examination carries 70% weightage for Law and 30% for Hindi & English language. Marks of Preliminary Examination are NOT counted towards final selection.
- The Main Examination consists of Paper I (Law – 300 Marks, 3 Hours) and Paper II (General Hindi 50 + General English 50 = 100 Marks, 2 Hours).
- Minimum qualifying marks for each paper: 40%. SC/ST candidates get a relaxation of 5%.
- The standard of Paper II will be that of Senior Secondary level. It is compulsory to appear in each paper.
- Law paper tests practical knowledge in criminal law, procedure, and framing charges in criminal cases.
