Educational Qualification :
Flying:
- Candidates should have mandatorily passed with a minimum of 50% marks each in Maths and Physics at 10+2 level and
- (a) Graduation with minimum three years degree course in any discipline from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent. OR
- (b) BE/B Tech degree (Four years course) from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent
Aeronautical Engineering Electronics:
- 10+2 Intermediate Minimum 50% Marks in Physics and Math and Minimum 4 Year Graduation / Integrated PG Degree in Engineering / Technology.
Aeronautical Engineering Mechanical:
- Candidates with Minimum 50% Marks Each in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 Level and 4 Year Engineering / Technology Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering or Equivalent Degree
Administration and Logistics:

AFCAT 01/2023 Training Details :
- Training will commence in the first week of January 2024 for all courses at Air Force Academy Dundigal (Hyderabad).
- The duration of training for Flying and Ground Duty (Technical) Branches is 74 weeks and that of Ground Duty (Non-Technical) Branches is 52 weeks at Air Force Training Establishments.
- PAN Card and account in SBI/ Nationalised Bank is mandatory at the time of joining Air Force Academy.
- Aadhaar Card is mandatory for registration.
Selection Process :
The Selection Process of AFCAT Recruitment includes the following Stages:

It is compulsory for the candidates opting for the Ground Duty (Technical) branch to appear in both exams of AFCAT as well Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT).
