Bihar BSSC CGL Eligibility :
- Assistant Branch Officer: Graduation from a recognized University.
- Planning Assistant: Graduation from a recognized University.
- Junior Statistical Assistant: Passed Graduation Examination in Mathematics or Economics or Commerce or Statistics from a recognized University.
- Data Entry Operator Grade – C: Graduation from a recognized University with PGDCA or BCA/ BSC (IT) or equivalent from a recognized Institute.
- Auditor: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University in any one of the subjects Commerce, Economics, Statistics or Mathematics.
- Auditors, Cooperative Societies: Graduation (with Mathematics) or Bachelor of Commerce from a recognized University.

BSSC CGL Exam Pattern :
- The questions will be objective and multiple choice. The total number of questions will be 150.
- 4 marks will be given for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- The duration of the exam will be 2 hours 15 minutes.
- The medium of language in the preliminary exam will be Hindi / English.
- The preliminary examination will be of objective nature.
- Through the preliminary examination, candidates equal to 05 (five) times the number of category wise available vacancies will be selected for the main examination.
- A separate advertisement will be published for the main examination.
- In the preliminary examination, one paper will be of general knowledge which will contain the following topics:
- General Studies.
- General Science and Mathematics.
- Comprehension / Logic / Reasoning / Mental Ability.
