अधिमानी अर्हता-
अन्य बातों के समान होने पर ऐसे अभ्यर्थी को सीधी भर्ती के मामले में अधिमान दिया जाएगा,
जिसने(i) प्रादेशिक सेना में न्यूनतम दो वर्ष की अवधि तक सेवा की हो, या
(ii) राष्ट्रीय कैडेट कोर का बी’ प्रमाण-पत्र प्राप्त किया हो।

Upper Age Limit Relaxation :
- उत्तर प्रदेश के अनुसूचित जाति, अनुसूचित जनजाति, अन्य पिछड़ा वर्ग और ऐसी अन्य श्रेणी के अभ्यर्थियों कीदशा में उच्चतर आयुसीमा उतने वर्ष अधिक होगी जितनी सरकार द्वारा विनिर्दिष्ट हो।
- शासनादेश दिनांक 28-11-1985 के अनुसार वर्गीकृत खेलों के कुशल खिलाड़ियों को अधिकतम आय में 05 वर्ष की छूट अनुमन्य होगी।
- भूतपूर्व सैनिको के लिए अधिकतम आयुसीमा में 03 वर्ष की छूट इस शर्त के साथ अनुमन्य होगी कि उनकी सम्पूर्ण सेवावधि को उनकी वास्तविक आयु में से घटाकर परिणाम स्वरूप शेष आयु निर्धारित आयु से 03 वर्ष से अधिक न हो। आवेदन की अंतिम तिथि तक सेना से कार्यमुक्त होना अनिवार्य है।
- समाज के विकलांगजनों को उत्तर प्रदेश के अद्यतन, नवीनतम, विद्यमान शासनादेश दिनांक 03 फरवरी, 2008 के अनुसार अधिकतम आयुसीमा में 15 वर्ष की छूट अनुमन्य होगी।
