Educational Qualification :

Sub Inspector of Police (UB) in Assam Police:

• The Candidate must be a graduate in Arts /Science/ Commerce or equivalent stream from a recognized College / Institutions affiliated to a recognized University.

Sub Inspector (AB) for Assam Commando Battalions:

• The Candidate must be a graduate in Arts /Science/ Commerce or equivalent stream from a recognized College / Institutions affiliated to a recognized University.

Sub Inspector of Police (Communication) in APRO:

• B.Sc. (Electronics Science/ IT/ Computer Science) (10+2+3 duration) OR
• 3-year Diploma from State Polytechnic in Electronics and Tele Communication, or Electronics or Information Technology, or Instrumentation or Computer Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent with 2 years work experience in the field of Electronics, Telecom, IT or allied environment. OR
• 3-year Diploma from State Polytechnic in Electronics and Tele Communication, or Electronics or Information Technology, or Instrumentation or Computer Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent and 2 years additional course/ courses in Telecommunication /IT /Computer Science/ Computer Engineering or equivalent. OR
• Master of Computer Application (MCA) OR
• B.E./ B. Tec. in E & TC or Computer or Instrumentation or IT or equivalent qualification in same discipline.

Constable for Assam Commando Battalion:

• HSLC or Equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council.

Constable (UB and AB) in Assam Police:

• Constable (UB): H.S. or Class XII passed from Govt. recognized Board or Council.
• Constable (AB): H.S.L.C or Class-X passed from Govt. recognized Board or Council.

Constable of Police (Communication, Dispatch Rider, Messenger & Carpenter) In APRO

• HSLC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council and passed prescribed ITI course in trade

Assistant Deputy Controller & Civil Defence Demonstrator:

• Minimum HSLC Passed from a Board recognized by the Govt.
• Pass Certificate of Instructor Course from National Civil Defence College, Nagpur/ NDRF Academy, Nagpur) and
• Pass Certificate of Elementary Fire Service Training or any other advance Civil Defence Course from National Civil Defence College, Nagpur or any other institute recognized by the Govt. of India.

Havilder under Directorate of Civil Defence:

• H.S.L.C or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council.

Nurse:

• Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) form a Govt. Medical College.

Laboratory Technician:

• Passed Laboratory Technician Course from Medical College.

Teacher:

• HSSLC Passed & Jr. Basic Training Certificate.

For Craft Instructor:

• HSLC Passed
• Certificate in Bamboo & Cane work / Tailoring / Weaving / Soap making from ITI or such other recognized Institute.

Tractor Operator:

• HSLC Passed
• Tractor Driving License.

Driver Constable in Assam Police:

• HSLC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council and must possess valid driving license for LMV or MMV or HMV.

Boatman in Assam Police:

• Passed HSLC or equivalent examination under any Govt. recognized board.
• Proficiency in swimming

Cook (SDRF):

• Read up to Class VI from a recognized School or Institution and maximum qualification will be HSSLC or Class XII passed from recognized Board or Council.

Multitasking & Maintenance Staff- I (Technical):

• Minimum Class VIII passed from a recognized School or Institution and maximum qualification will be HSSLC or Class XII passed from recognized Board or Council.
• Minimum two year certificate course from a recognized Industrial Training Institution / Vocational Institute.

Multitasking & Maintenance Staff- II (Non- Technical):

• Minimum Class VIII passed from a recognized School or Institution and maximum qualification will be HSSLC or Class XII passed from recognized Board or Council.
• Training Certificate issued by Sector Skill Council (SSC). OR
• Minimum 01 (one) year working experience Certificate from a recognized / registered Institution.

Safai Karmachari:

• Minimum Class VI passed from a recognized School or Institution and maximum qualification will be HSSLC or Class XII passed from recognized Board or Council.
• Training Certificate issued by Sector Skill Council (SSC). OR
• Minimum 01 (one) year work experience Certificate from registered NGO / Municipality Board / Govt. Departments.

Age Limit:

Minimum Age – 18 Years

Maximum Age – 40 Years

Eligibility Details :

1. Nationality- Candidates must be Indian citizens, permanent resident of Assam. Selected candidates will have to submit proof of residence /Domicile Certificate after publication of the final select list. However, candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC/MOBC are exempted from submitting such certificates.
2. Candidates must register his/ her name with a local Employment Exchange in Assam.
3. Candidates must speak Assamese or any other state language fluently

Selection Process :

• PST (Physical Standard Test), Preliminary Medical checkup, and Trade Proficiency Test

Salary Details :

The selected candidates will be getting a pay scale of Rs. 12000-52000 (Pay Band- I) and a Grade pay of Rs. 3900/- plus other allowances as admissible under the rules.
