Educational Qualification :
Assistant Aircraft Mechanic (Assistant Sub-Inspector):
- Three years Diploma in the relevant trade recognized by the Directorate General Civil Aviation; or
- Group “X” Diploma issued by the Indian Air Force.
- Preferably two years’ relevant aviation experience after completion of Diploma course.
Assistant Radio Mechanic (Assistant Sub-Inspector):
- Three years Diploma recognized by the Directorate General Civil Aviation in Telecommunication or Electronic Engineering; or
- Group “X” Radio Diploma issued by the Indian Air Force.
- Preferably two years’ experience in maintenance or overhauling of Communication or Navigation equipment fitted in Aircraft or Helicopter held by Border Security Force.
Constable (Storeman):
- Matriculation pass with Science; or equivalent from a recognized Board.
- Must have two years working experience in store or warehousing of any Government or Public Sector Undertaking or Autonomous Organization or any company or private firm or Institution.
- Working knowledge in computer or having prior aviation experience is preferable.
Sub-Inspector (Works):
- Pass Three Years Diploma in Civil Engineering from an Institute recognized by the Central Government or State Government.
Junior Engineer/ Sub-Inspector (Electrical):
- Pass Three Years Diploma in Electrical Engineering from an Institute recognized by the Central Government or State Governments.
HC (Plumber):
- Matriculation pass or its equivalent with Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Certificate in the trade of Plumber or three years’ experience in the respective trade from reputed firm.
HC (Carpenter):
- Matriculation pass or its equivalent with Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Certificate in the trade of Carpenter or three years’ experience in the respective trade from reputed firm
Constable (Generator Operator):
- Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board with Industrial Training Institute Certificate in the trade (i.e. Electrician or Wireman or Diesel Motor Mechanic) from a recognized institute and three years’ experience in the respective trade from a firm recognized by the Central or State Government.
Constable (Generator Mechanic):
- Matriculation or equivalent from recognized Board with Industrial Training Institute Certificate in Diesel/ Motor Mechanic from a recognized institute and three years’ experience in the respective trade from a firm recognized by the Central or State Government.
