Educational Qualification :
- CG TET 2024 will be held by the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board for Paper I and II. Candidates who want to participate in the exam must have required educational qualification for the respective Paper, which is available below.

- Paper I – A candidate must have passed the Intermediate exam and he or she must have pursued 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education or 4 years Bachelor’s in Elementary Education.
- Paper II – An individual must have pursued a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution/university and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education, 4 years Bachelor’s in Elementary Education, or 4 years Bachelor’s of Education.
- Note: 1.5 years i.e. 18 months DElEd pursued candidates are not eligible to participate in the CG TET 2024 for either Paper I or II.
Age Limit :
- There is no upper age limit for the Chhattisgarh Teacher Eligibility Test 2023 for Paper I or II. But one must have attended the age of 18 and 21 years, of he or she applying for Paper I and II, respectively.

CG TET Exam Pattern 2024
It is highly advisable for the candidates preparing for the CG TET 2024 to go through the CG TET 2024 Exam Pattern in detail to ensure they understand its nuances. The candidates have to appear for two Papers- Paper I (for classes 1 to 5) and Paper II (for classes 6 to 8). The candidates need to appear for 150 questions worth 150 marks in 150 minutes for each paper. There is no negative marking in the CG TET Exam 2024.
