Education Qualification :

For SSA Post :

• Applicants should have completed Bachelor’s Degree from recognized university.

For Stenographer Post :

• Applicants should have completed 12th Pass from recognized university.

Age Limit :

• Minimum Age – 18 Years
• Maximum Age – 27 Years

The age Relaxation will be given as per the Rules of the Government.

Application Fee :

• General /OBC/ EWS : Rs.700/-
• SC/ ST/ PwBD/ Female Candidates/ Ex-Servicemen: 0/-

Salary Details :

For SSA Posts :

Rs. 29200 to Rs. 92300 Per Month

For Stenographer Posts :

Rs. 25,500 to Rs. 81,100 Per Month.

• Skill Test (Steno/ Typing)
• Document Verification
• Medical Examination

EPFO SSA Pahse I Exam Pattern 2023

• Each question shall have 4 marks each
• Negative Marking: 1/4th
• Time Duration: 2 Hours
• Mode Of Exam: Computer-Based Test (CBT)

EPSO SSA Phase II-Computer Skill Test (Computer Data Entry Test)

Candidates will be required to appear for the Skill Test to assess speed and accuracy for Data Entry Work. A typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on computer. (35 words per minute and 30 words per minute correspond to 10500 Key Depression Per Hour (KDPH) / 9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word for Data Entry Work. Candidates short-listed for Skill Test will have to appear for a Skill Test.

NOTE:- Computer Skill Test will be qualifying in nature. Marks obtained will not be reckoned for merit ranking.

EPFO SSA Syllabus 2023

English Language :

Reading Comprehension, New Pattern Cloze Test, Spotting Errors, Sentence Improvement, Para Jumbles (New Pattern), Fill in the Blanks / Double Fillers, Odd One Out/Theme-based questions, Sentence Connectors, Paragraph/ Sentence Completion, Vocabulary based questions (especially Synonyms-Antonyms)

Numerical Aptitude :

• Simplification/ Approximation
• Number Series
• Quadratic Equations
• Data Sufficiency
• Data Interpretation
• Arithmetic Questions

General Knowledge (GK) :

Questions will be designed to test the general awareness of the environment and its application to the society. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of every day observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighbouring countries especially pertaining History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity& Scientific Research.

EPFO Steno Pre Exam Pattern 2023

• Each question shall have 4 marks each.
• Question paper will be of Objective Type Multiple Choice only. The questions will be set both in English and Hindi except part-III i.e. English Language and Comprehension.
• The marks obtained in Phase – I will be considered for final selection on merit.
• For each wrong answer, there will be a negative marking of one fourth of the mark assigned to that question.
• Total marks 800
• Total Duration :- 2 Hours 10 minutes (130 minutes)

EPFO Computer Skill Test 2023

The candidates who are shortlisted in the Phase-I Examination will be required to appear in the Skill Test for Stenography. Time allotted is as under:

• Dictation: Ten minutes at the rate of eighty words per minute. (Dictation will be computer based)
• Transcription: Fifty minutes (English) / Sixty-five minutes (Hindi). (Only on computer)
• Note:- Skill Test in Stenography will be qualifying in nature. Marks obtained will not be reckoned for merit
