Selection Process :
- Written Exam / Interview

The candidates will be selected based on their performance in the following
- Combined Preliminary Examination and Main Exam
- Physical test for recruitment to the post of Sub-Inspector of Police will be of 100 marks.
- Candidates securing minimum 70 marks in physical test will be interviewed for 40 marks.
- The selection process for Police Sub-Inspector Cadre will be conducted on the basis of the marks in the main written test and the marks in the interview.
- Prescribed Typing Skill Test is mandatory for recruitment in Tax Assistant as well as Assistant Room Officer and Clerk Typist cadre.
- Typing Skill Test (Only for Clerk-Typist and Tax Assistant Posts)
MPSC Clerk Typist Exam 2023 Paper Pattern:-
Following is the paper pattern for MPSC Clerk Typist Exam 2023 :
MPSC Clerk / Typist Prelims Exam Pattern:-
Subjects – Current Affairs, Civics, History, Geography, Economics, Science, Mental Ability & Mathematics.
Type:- Objective Type
Total Questions – 100.
Total Marks – 100.
Duration – 1 hour.
Level of Exam – HSC.
Those who clear Prelims are eligible for Mains.
MPSC Clerk / Typist Mains Exam Pattern:-
Paper I –
Duration – 1 Hour
Type – Objective Type
Subject- Marathi – 60 Qs – 60 marks – HSC level
Subject – English – 40 Qs – 40 marks – Graduation level
Paper II –
Duration 1 hour
Type – Objective Type
Subject – General Intelligence Test – 100 Qs – 100 marks – Graduation level.
Clerk/Typist aspirants who clear the written examination are called for typing test.
Typing Speed:-
• For Clerk / Typist (Marathi) – 30 wpm.
• For Clerk / Typist (English) – 40 wpm.
