Navodaya Vidyalaya 9th 11th Class Admission Form 2027-28 Short Overview :

Navodaya Vidyalaya 9th Class Eligibility Condition (नवोदय विद्यालय की 9वीं के लिए जरूरी अहर्ता)

• Navodaya Vidyalaya Class 9 Admission Eligibility:

  1. Only those candidates who are Bonafide residents & studying Class VIII during the Academic Session 2026-27 in one of the Govt./ Govt. recognized schools of the district where the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is functioning and where admission is sought, are eligible.
  2. District of residence and district of class VIII study should be same in respect of candidates who desire to apply for admission to class IX (session 2027-28) in the JNV located in the same district.
  3. Date of Birth of the candidate must be between 1st May 2012 to 31st July 2014 (both days inclusive). This is applicable to all categories of candidates including those who belong to the SC/ ST/ OBC/ Divyang.

Navodaya Vidyalaya Class 11 Admission Eligibility :

1. Date of Birth of the candidate must be between 1st June 2010 to 31st July 2012 (both days inclusive). This is applicable to all categories of candidates including those who belong to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. Candidates who have passed class X prior to the session 2026-27 are not eligible. Candidates who are studying in class X during the session 2026-27 only are eligible to apply.
2. The candidate must be studying in Class X from a Govt./ Govt. recognized school (affiliated to CBSE or any other State Education Board/ other Govt. recognized Board) of the district where the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is located during the academic session 2026-27 (April 2026 to March 2027 session) / (January 2026 to December 2026 session).

Age Limit :

• Class 9 : Born between 1st May 2012 to 31st July 2014 (both days inclusive).
• Class 11 : Born between 1st June 2010 to 31st July 2012 (both days inclusive).

Navodaya Vidyalaya 9th Class Exam Pattern

Navodaya Vidyalaya Class 9 Test Pattern:

Selection Test will consist of questions from the subjects of Mathematics, General Science, English and Hindi. Difficulty level of the test paper shall be of Class VIII.

Navodaya Vidyalaya Class 11 Test Pattern:

The selection test will be of two- and half-hour duration from 11:00 A.M. to 01:30 P.M. and will have 5 sections with, only objective type questions. There are 100 questions in all for 100 marks.
