UP Metro Rail Corporation Eligibility :

Assistant Manager / (Civil):

BE / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a Govt. recognized University / Institute with minimum of 60% marks for applying for candidates for Unreserved, EWS& OBC vacancies and with minimum of 50% marks for applying for candidates for reserved vacancies of SC only.

Assistant Manager / (Electrical):

BE / B.Tech in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent from a Govt. recognized University / Institute with minimum of 60% marks for applying for candidates for applying for candidates for Unreserved, EWS & OBC vacancies.

Assistant Manager / (S&T):

BE / B.Tech in Electronics/Electronics & Communication or Equivalent from a Govt. recognized University / Institute with minimum of 60% marks for applying for candidates for applying for candidates for Unreserved& EWS vacancies

Selection Process :

For the post of Assistant Manager (Civil) (post code-E01), Assistant Manager (Electrical) (post code-E02), Assistant Manager (S&T) (post code-E03), the selection methodology will comprise two – stage process – Written Test, followed by document verification & Medical examination in Executive (Technical) category.
For the post of Assistant Manager / Accounts (post code-E04), the selection methodology will comprise two – stage process – Written Test followed by Document verification & Medical examination in Executive (Non-Technical) category.
For the post of Jr. Engineers, (post codes NE01, NE02, NE03) the selection methodology will comprise two-stage process – Written Test followed by Document verification & Medical examination in Aye-Three (A-3) category.
For the post of Account Assistant (post code NE04) and Office Assistant (HR) (post code NE05) the selection methodology will comprise two-stage process – Written Test followed by Document verification & Medical examination in Cee-One (C-1) category.

Exam Pattern :

Objective type Computer Based Test (CBT) for all the posts will be held on one or more days.
Question paper will be bilingual i.e in English and Hindi.
It will consist of multiple-choice objective type questions to judge the knowledge of English language, General Awareness, Logical Ability, Quantitative Aptitude and knowledge of the discipline.
There will be a total of 140 questions for categories E-01 to E-04 & from NE-01 to NE-05.
Each question carrying equal marks.
There will be negative marking. For every wrong answer 1/3 marks will be deducted.
The Paper shall be of 2 hours duration.
Examination will be conducted through Online Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.

Physical, Social and Economic Geography of India. Physical, Social and Economic Geography and Demography. Socio-economic, Political and Cultural History of Modern India with special emphasis on Indian National Movement. Socio-economic, Political and Cultural History of India with special emphasison UP Statehood Movement and formation of UP state. Indian Constitution; Indian Political System; Governance and Public Policy

Quantitative Aptitude :- Questions will be asked from Simplification, Average, Percentage, Time & Work, Area 2D-3D, profit & Loss, Simple & Compound Interest, Time & Speed, Partnership, Boat And Stream, Railway, Surds & Indices, Investment, HCF – LCM, Problem On Ages, Bar Graph, Pictorial Graph, Pie Chart. Date Interpretation is the section which have to be focused.

Logical Ability: Data Interpretation, Venn Diagram, Inductive Logic, Puzzles, Coding and decoding, Number Series, Blood Relations, Arrangements, Analogies, Similarities, Differences, Space visualization, Problem solving, Analysis and Judgment, Decision-making, Visual memory, Discrimination, Observation, relationship, Concepts, Arithmetical reasoning, Verbal and figure classification, Arithmetical number series, Abilities to deal with abstract ideas and symbols and their relationships.

Knowledge of the Discipline : In this Section the Questions Will Be Asked From your Education Background, So you can Prepared according to your Field.

Exam Centers :

Computer based Test (CBT) will be held at Lucknow, Kanpur, Agra, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Meerut, Jhansi, Bareilly, Gautam Buddha Nagar(Noida), Greater Noida , Ghaziabad, Aligarh, Moradabad, Mathura and Muzaffarnagar or any other city of U.P. (as per requirement).
