Educational Qualification :

Head Constable Radio Operator :

• Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board and two years Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Certificate in Radio and Television or, Electronics or, Computer Operator & Programming Assistant or, Data Preparation & Computer Software or, General Electronics or, Data Entry Operator from a recognized Institute.

OR

• Pass in Intermediate or 12th standard or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized Board or University or Institution as a regular student with aggregate 60% marks in PCM subjects.

Head Constable Radio Mechanic :

• Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board and two-years Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Certificate in Radio and Television or, General Electronics or, Computer Operator & Programming Assistant or, Data Preparation & Computer Software or, Electrician or, Fitter or, Info Technology & Electronics System maintenance or, Comn Equipment Maintenance or, Computer Hardware or, Network Technician or, Mechatronics or, Data Entry Operator from a recognized Institute.

OR

Selection Process :

Written Examination (OMR Based)

Exam Pattern :- BSF HC/RO & ASI/RM Exam Pattern will be as follows :

► The written test will be multiple choice objective type.
► There will be a composite paper carrying 100 questions of 200 marks.
► The duration of test will be 03:00 hours (120 minutes).

► Level of Questions: Physics, Chemistry and Math questions will be of 12^th class level.

► Each question shall carry 02 marks and 0.50 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

BSF HC RM RO Descriptive Test 2023

1) For HC RM: There will be one single exam of 200 marks consisting of following syllabus –

• Physics,
• Chemistry,
• Mathematics
• Logical Reasoning,
• Electronics.

Questions will be asked from 12th Level.

2) For HC (RO): 2 exams will be held for Head Constable Recruitment and they are –

(a) Descriptive Test – 150 marks. Syllabus will be consisting of

• Physics,
• Chemistry,
• Mathematics,
• Logical Reasoning,
• English.

(b) Dictation Test – 50 marks & Paragraph Reading – Qualifying in Nature.
